Description
Lodge Farm is set in the rural countryside of West Sussex and steeped in history. Originally used by the Duke of Norfolk as a hunting lodge, the main house dates back to the 1500s. Our little cottage is a rare escape to the natural beauty of the true English countryside. Located next to the duck pond, its a serene and tranquil place where the only alarm is the sound of the cockerel. The cottage has it's own kitchenette and bathroom and is the cosiest of our places to settle in for the night. The space The cottage is a cosy studio with kitchenette, bathroom and a TV (not that you'll want much of that when you're here). The small patio area is a sun trap and great space to eat breakfast on a sunny morning. If the chickens are laying well, you can even have fresh eggs for breakfast. There are plenty of spots to relax on the farm itself - whether your interested in a woodland walk, lending a hand in the vegetable garden, or simply sunbathing and taking a dip in the pool, there is something for everyone. As the day comes to an end - have a sundowner in our pergola overlooking the Sussex countryside (handmade by my grandfather nearly 30 years ago). All before, retiring to bed which we handmade recently using wood from trees on our land. It's a super comfortable place to get a good nights rest after a day exploring. Guest access Guests are welcome to use every part gardens, land and swimming pool and have exclusive use and access to the cottage.
