Peaceful Studio in the Trees

Description

Private Studio with a beautiful view, surrounded by urban nature. The studio is cozy and cabin-like with everything you need to enjoy your visit. The neighborhood is peaceful for a city setting. Duboce Triangle is a gorgeous, central neighborhood in San Francisco and arguably one of the best! Our walking score is 98. Enjoy Victorian houses and tree-lined walks to coffee shops, parks, restaurants, fitness studios, events, work, and easy access to public transit for all the sightseeing. The space Thanks so much for considering our Airbnb! We look forward to hosting you and making your stay comfy. **Please consider before booking** The studio is spacious but can only accommodate 2 people max, and we cannot accommodate infants and small children under 10 rears old. The couch is *not* a sleeping option but we have a medium-firm queen bed from Layla and can also provide a floor mattress if sleeping separate is needed. It is ideal for any type of couple/duo or solo travel/ work travel who plan to have a peaceful retreat. If this is you, please book. If you are hoping to let loose, party, have friends over, do noisy activities; respectfully, please consider booking a different Airbnb, we cannot accommodate this. Any other type of situation please inquire with us before booking. The studio is located in a historic Greek Revival Victorian and that was built in 1892 and has had many restorations done over the years. It is 3 levels and the studio is tucked privately at the back of the house with its own private entrance, up a couple flights of stairs. It's elevation allows for an awesome view and treehouse-like effect! It has a rustic midcentury cabin-like charm with big beautiful windows that showcase downtown San Francisco. Surrounded by other beautiful Victorians with lush gardens, trees, and urban wildlife, you can be sure to enjoy this little oasis in the city. Studio has a private entrance that passes through our outdoor living quarters. It's about 2 flights of stairs to access. You will have the only view in the house! There is a small, but nicely equipped, kitchenette with 2 burner induction cooktop and Ninja convection oven as well as a full size fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and Nespresso machine. The bathroom is equipped with a stall rain shower and washer-drier combo. Wifi is speedy and the space will have a set up for remote work. TV with Apple TV & Netflix is located in the unit as well. My partner and I are the recent owners of this beautiful property and take pride in being its caretaker. We live here full time so you will have chance encounters with us. We do share a bedroom wall with the studio unit and there is a bedroom below the studio. We also have a quiet tenant on the street level as well. We all try to be conscious of each other. This property is not particularly accommodating for those with disabilities as it requires taking multiple stairs to get to the unit. It may also not be a good fit for those that are not able to carry suitcases up flights of stairs. Please see photos on our listing. LGBTQ+, BIPOC friendly, please let us know how we can make your stay more comfortable. We are in the heart of the Castro within short walking distance to all the life and community the Castro brings to SF. Guest access While staying in the studio you will have access to your own private small deck with a view among the tree tops. It will have a table large enough for two to enjoy coffee or a meal al fresco, should the San Francisco weather permit :) Other things to note Full disclosure: Unfortunately this studio would not be a good fit for folks with disabilities that prevent them from going up stairs or that are unable to carry luggage up stairs. Check out the photos and confirm before booking. As mentioned, this is our family home and we are on-site full time. We hope you will treat this special place with respect, as if it were your own home. This is a peaceful retreat in a fairly quiet neighborhood with close quarters to us and our neighbors. If you are looking to let loose, this may not be the place for you. Absolutely no partying allowed. We do not allow unauthorized guests on the property. If you have a special situation please reach out to discuss. While we love animals, Pets are not allowed under any circumstances. I and my cleaning crew have allergies and we need to keep the studio dander free. Parking passes are available for a fee. Please inquire early if you plan on bringing a car. Going car-less is highly recommended though, parking is limited and cars are susceptible to break-ins. If you park without a pass, you must move your car every two hours Monday-Friday 8AM-9PM, you can park for free Saturday and Sunday, however. Street sweeping is in effect in the area as well, and guests will need to be mindful about moving their vehicles even with a permit. Always check all the signs when parking. You also must turn your wheels if you are on an incline or you will get a ticket. Turn them out if you are facing up and turn them in if you are facing down. We are very centrally located to all public transportation and walking distance to all you could ever need. If you can manage with out a car, we recommend it. Registration Details STR-0007160
