The Historic Coquina Cottage B - 2 Blocks to Beach

Cottage B is one of five quaint rental opportunities on a magnificently rebuilt Old Naples Cottage Estate c.1920. Located two blocks from the Gulf of Mexico & Naples Pier and within two minutes walking of everything 5th Avenue and 3rd Street South have to offer. Cottage B is a charming unit with a king-sized bed, a comfortable sitting area, a full kitchen, a remodeled bathroom, laundry, Wi-Fi, smart televisions, heat, AC, beach supplies, an outdoor patio, and parking. The space Cottage B is one of five quaint rental opportunities on a magnificently rebuilt Old Naples Cottage Estate, built in c. 1910. We are two blocks from the Gulf of Mexico and Naples Pier, and within walking distance of everything 5th Avenue and 3rd Street South have to offer. Cottage B has one king bedroom, a full kitchen, laundry, and a front room with a pull-out love seat, side tables, and a comfortable swivel chair. There is a front covered porch with three chairs around a metal table. The porch leads to a brick patio with three Adirondack chairs, side tables, and a large black-and-white umbrella. We provide beach chairs, umbrellas, insulated bags, and ice packs. Note - **Cottage A and B are attached under one roof line. The porches are adjacent, but not shared. In our pictures, you can see that Cottage A is on the right and Cottage B is on the left. **Construction has been ongoing across the street from us for the past eight or so years. The building phase was most active in the last two seasons. I wondered, 'What do you do when living near a construction site?' The answer was to use noise machines and earplugs. I stocked them and lowered the nightly price. I use the VRBO Market Price Tool to set the nightly price. **Guests, of course, would rather not have construction, but, saying that, we still have 5-star reviews, and reports say construction runs until 4/5 p.m. and does not occur on weekends. As I am not in control of the building schedule, I can only go on what the guests report in our feedback. ***The 2026 season looks like it will be trim on windows and doors, and the inside work. As we are so close to the beach, Old Naples, and the National Parks and Everglades, there is enough to do to avoid construction hours. If you are a late riser and do not want to wear earplugs, I suggest that you choose another spot. Cottage C is farther away - we also have 385 and 387, on 8th Ave, which you can find in my profile. I have posted a picture taken in November 2025 of the construction site. Guest access Cottage B lives on the corner of 180 Broad Avenue S. and 1160/1170 Gordon Drive. Enter the crescent moon driveway via Gordon Drive, facing the same direction. Your parking spot is one of the first three spots parallel to the white fence and the arbor. After parking on the left side of the driveway, walk through the bougainvillea-covered archways and follow the shelled path straight ahead. You will see white Adirondack Chairs and a black-and-white striped umbrella. Three steps up to the covered porch lead to your private entrance, which has a keypad for access. Airbnb sends a message three days before your reservation with Check-In information. I will include the code for your front door in that message. Other things to note Read and Agree -We have written out the contract with the Property Rules to ensure all guests in the five rentals are on the same page. We will assume that you have agreed to and will follow these property rules. Please don't hesitate to contact us if something seems amiss. Our team cares about this property and your stay, and we want you to be happy. - No smoking anything on or in the property - Quiet Hours: 10 pm to 8 am - No Subleasing - No Pets on or in the property - The person who rented the property is responsible for their guests' actions. - Shared Spaces on the Property The shared spaces are the driveway, the carport with the grill, and the trash boxes. The outdoor grass areas are shared. - Parking There are five parking spots, and each rental has one. Please park strategically on the left side, close enough to fit all five yet far enough away to let others access their boots. Fear of Animals - Due to a long-term guest request to honor their fear of animals, we ask guests not to bring their animals to the property or to host anyone else's. Long Term Stays - If you are staying long-term, please let us know if you are leaving the Cottage overnight. We will let our caretaker know in case of any weather. Internet - Comcast/Exfinity is our internet provider, but we do not have cable boxes to connect to live television. - I use a Surf/Arris Router and an Erro Modem. The Erro app lets me see what is working and what is not in real time and reset it. - The white square box with white lights is the Erro Extender. If it comes unplugged, could you plug it in? The light will change colors until it is online again. Smart Televisions /No Cable Subscription - I have discovered that stating that we have smart televisions does not convey that we do not have a cable subscription. Guests have continued to watch their favorite shows and sports events by signing in to their home Hulu, YouTube, and Peacock subscriptions or by signing up for trials with FuBu or Tubi. Trash and Recyclable Sorting - If our cleaners and trash removal team have to touch your trash, you will be charged. - You can place trash and recycling in plastic bags and put them in the black barrels. Please tie them! Please, please do not throw odd trash in without bagging it. ****** Our people, this year his name is Johnny, who manually takes your trash from the barrels to the garbage, not machines. When you throw in odd litter, Johnny has to reach in and grab it. Also, the heat in Florida does not treat odd trash well. Thank You!
