The space Moonshine Cabin is the perfect place for your family to unwind and enjoy all that Candlewood Lake has to offer - boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, baking pizza in our outdoor oven, or just hanging out at the firepit while you watch a beautiful sunset. We have direct lake access with a private dock in season (please notify us in advance if you plan to bring your own boat). Birch Groves is a friendly community with no through traffic that offers a private beach, clubhouse, tennis/pickleball courts and great walking/running paths. Charming downtown New Milford with its great restaurants and quaint shops is just a ten-minute drive away. Modern comfortable furnishings throughout. The main living area is on the first floor, the bedrooms on the second floor, with ample outdoor areas on both levels. Most rooms have direct lake views, dock and patios feature amazing sunsets, and our spacious private lot is surrounded by beautiful mature landscape in all seasons. The cabin has a rustic charm with original fireplace and hardwood floors throughout. Kitchen, bedrooms, and all bathrooms are freshly updated with high-end finishes. The first floor has a large open floor plan which overlooks the lake and opens to the patio and outdoor dining. There is one full bath on the first floor. First floor also features a bonus space which can be used as a media room, workspace, or children's playroom. There are three bedrooms and two full baths upstairs. The primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and two of the bedrooms have lake views. A three-season sunporch/bonus room that opens out to a spacious upstairs deck can be used for an office/workout room based on your needs. Covered parking for one car and two uncovered parking spaces are located onsite. Please note that you will need to be comfortable with stairs to stay here. Because of our lakeside location, the property has a significant slope. For extended stays, send an inquiry for discounted pricing. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and outside area/lakefront. Clubhouse is only open in season (June-October), and dock will be pulled out of the water in the winter. Please inquire about specific amenities if you are not sure what will be available during your stay. Other things to note We live in a private HOA community and all renters will need to sign an agreement with the HOA which is a one-page document that will be provided prior to booking. There is a $300 HOA fee which is included in the fees and will be paid on your behalf. Guests must also adhere to the town of New Milford enforced quiet hours between between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.
