The Coop at Vintage Grove Family Farm

Welcome! This charming little house is a repurposed chicken coop on the farm. Enjoy the quiet, country life with all the comforts from home. The Coop is located between the main house and the large barn on a small hobby farm. This is a working farm with large and small animals, however, there are no hens in the guest house! During your stay, you are welcome to wander through the barn and visit all the animals. We do not have a TV, however, the internet works great! The space The Coop is a studio apartment with a kitchenette. The French doors look out toward the large barn. It is a peaceful place to rest and relax. This summer, we are making some upgrades to the furniture and amenities. There may be a few things different in pictures. This is a working farm, so you will see our family doing chores and working with animals often. You are always welcome to help feed the animals or grab a pitchfork to clean out a stall! (Just kidding! You are not expected to do any work during your farm stay!) Our farm dog, Juno, usually accompanies our guests around the farm. Often, I find her sleeping on the doorstep of the Coop when we have guests. I can easily put her way if she becomes bothersome. Guest access You have access to the entire studio apartment. The apartment itself is absolutely private. Again, since it is a working farm, there may be family members working with animals, loading hay or doing chores around the barn. Other things to note There’s a fire pit behind The Coop for you to use at any time (cut wood, fire starters and s’more kit included) and the lights behind the unit may be turned on or off as you please. The Weber grill is available for you too. Our horses and goats live on the farm all year. My children raise pigs and lambs during the summer months; May through end of July.
