Cozy Foothills Casita - Private, Safe & Secure!

Our casita offers easy access to biking/hiking trails, dining options, and shopping, our home is the perfect base for your adventures. Level 2 EV 🔋available! The casita offers a private entrance, queen size bed, an additional inflatable mattress available for a third visitor, along with a small kitchenette and a full bathroom full of amenities. Our newly renovated backyard is a haven of relaxation, featuring a gazebo, deck, and a play structure for little ones! The space The bedroom includes a comfy queen size bed with an additional inflatable mattress upon request (for a third guest or children only). Extra blankets and towels are available as well as a small collection of board games and books for your leisure. The casita is attached to our family home and shares 1 wall only. The door to our side of the property stays locked- there is also a door latch for your privacy. When booking multiple night stays, please keep in mind that there may be noise heard through the shared wall during the daytime hours starting around 10am. The kitchenette may be small but has everything you may need to cook a small meal and make your morning coffee/tea. With a fridge, stove/oven, coffee maker, tea kettle, french press, rice cooker, toaster and pots and pans. We also have a Brita water pitcher in the fridge and bottles of water for on the go! Full sink and drying rack, as well as cooking spices, utensils and dishes to use if needed! Our full bathroom has a shower/bathtub and many amenities/toiletries in case you forget anything! A hair dryer is available as well! There are two private parking spots available. One behind a gated RV pad (with prior approval only - requested at time of booking) and one in our driveway. Street parking is available as well. Please ask for approval prior to parking behind the gate! A Level 2 EV charger is available for guest use at an additional $0.20 / kWH. Our newly renovated backyard is a beautiful escape for you to enjoy the New Mexico weather. Drink your morning coffee on the deck or an evening glass of wine under the gazebo. The kid's play structure is also available if you have a kiddo! Yard games are available upon request (Jumbo Jenga or Corn Hole.) Guest access The casita consists of the bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. The other door that is located in the casita, enters into our side of the property. That door will remain locked. The backyard can also be used, but we ask that once quiet hours start at 10pm that the backyard is no longer used. We have 2 small hypoallergenic dogs and two small kiddos that use the backyard throughout the day as well. Other things to note Please keep in mind that our space is ~300sqft and we are primarily designed to host 2 people. A family with children or a 3rd adult can be accommodated no problem with the air mattress but please note that the space will feel cramped for anymore than 2 people.
