*Casita Caminero* (Cozy Local Stay in Puerto Rico)

This cozy house belonged to a Caminero (Past Country Travel Gov Worker), and today we want to give a comfort stay experience to our new named "camineros" who are those travelers from all over. Enjoy the spacious patio from where you can connect with nature, appreciate the sunset and most specially the stars at your night stays. Strategically located minutes from the main highway 100 that connects all the places of interest of the town, including the main square of Cabo Rojo and its main beaches. The space Insta: @casita_caminero Casillas de Camineros is the Spanish name given to the structures built in the late 19th century along the main highways of Puerto Rico and served as a residence for the "camineros", who were specially trained government workers in charge of maintaining the main roads of the country. This cozy house belonged to a Caminero and today we want to give a comfort stay experience to our new named "camineros" who are those travelers from all over. This old structure build in the 1970’s that retains its original floors has two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen (kitchenette), dining room, balcony, and a spacious patio from where you can connect with nature, appreciate the sunset and most specially the stars at your night stays. Strategically located minutes from the main highway 100 that connects all the places of interest of the town, including the main square of Cabo Rojo and its main beaches. Also, less than five minutes by car you can find a bakery, gas station and a well-known pharmacy. What to expect: -An experience of your stay as a local. -Rural local neighborhood with few houses around. -Comfortable beds for your night sleep. -Peacefull and quite surroundings with sounds of birds in the morning. -Can find other animals and bugs as you are staying in a rural (country type) property. Also sounds of roosters in case you are not used to the sounds. -Small entrance along the main street so you can expect a little difficulty arriving to the place. What not to expect: -Luxury amenities. -Walking distance restaurants, eating places or beaches. -No back up electricity or water systems.
