Surrounded by dense greenery and visiting wildlife, the property provides a peaceful, secure base for exploring Bocas del Toro. Guest access Guests have access to their private room and bathroom, plus all shared outdoor spaces - the pool, sun deck, shaded cabanas, lounge areas, open-air gym, and custom skate bowl. Other things to note The Monkey Bowl is a relaxed, self-service property for travelers who value simplicity, privacy, and nature. There are no on-site staff or dining services. Restaurants and cafés are nearby in Big Creek and Bocas Town, and a bike and walking path connects our area into town - about a 10-15 minute ride or taxi trip. Skullys offers e-bike and quad rentals nearby, and taxis are easy to arrange; most drivers will share their number for rides during your stay. Pedal bicycles are also available for rent in town. The property is surrounded by jungle, so wildlife, rain, and occasional muddy paths are part of daily life. Power, water, or internet may cut out or fluctuate, which is normal for Bocas. You’ll likely hear the sounds of birds, frogs, and monkeys throughout the day. Guests can arrange grocery or alcohol delivery directly to the property, and some local restaurants offer dinner delivery as well.
