Cozy cottage on our Sheep Farm

Get cosy and settle into this rustic space. Located on 350 hectares of a coastal sheep farm. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Please be aware, the cottage is a step or two above camping. The bedding is all brand new as are the towels. The bed is soft. There is no wifi or cell reception. The views from the deck are truly amazing and you are welcome to use our kayaks. The space The cottage is located on a sheep farm just 20 minutes outside of Nelson. Guest access You are welcome anywhere on the farm, but please do not venture past the Woolshed(on the road) as it legally becomes our neighbours property. You are welcome to access the beach via the estuary at low tide, but please do not drive past the woolshed.Please leave gates as you find them as to not disrupt the workings of the farm. Do not go into the cow paddock..no matter how adorable they are! Other things to note Our address 379 is not yet on the entrance of the farm. (see pictures in listing).There is a sign at the beginning of the farm that says Wakapuaka Block 1b and no trespassing. Keep going, that's us!!! The cottage will be on your left(an old wooden sign that says Delaware Bay on the fence). The cottage is yellow with a red roof. The cottage is VERY rustic so please bear that in mind before you book. I recommend washing dishes and pans before you use them as we do have mice on the farm. I have done my best to control this by putting cutlery in a plastic container, as well as putting poison under the house, but at the end of the day, it is a farm and there are mice. Saying that, you most likely will not see them. They stay away from noise. Please leave the white chairs inside. My father made them for me years ago and they are fragile. There are deck chairs on the deck for outside use. Please put them away in high wind. There is no wifi or cell reception. Feel free to turn off the fly spray if it bothers you.
