Thursford Xmas show and coast just 20 mins away

A spacious vaulted bedroom with en suite bathroom in a 200 year old red brick barn, with gorgeous views over paddocks. Surrounded by peaceful, idyllic farmland and woods, 18 minutes from Thursford, very close to Houghton Hall, 25 minutes from Sandringham, Holkham and the coast. Two miles from Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve, and an easy drive to Titchwell, Holme, Snettisham and Cley bird reserves. Breakfast included in the price. The space The barn faces East and West, with a large south facing conservatory. There is a wood burner in the sitting room for cosy breakfasts in the winter. In the summer there are several places to sit in the garden to take in the birdsong and bask in the sun. Please note the en suite bathroom has a bath and we have lots of hot water. There is a shower attachment but it’s pathetic - ok for rinsing hair but not much else. Guest access Huge first floor bedroom with en suite bathroom, TV, small fridge, sofa and armchairs. Guests are welcome to use seating areas in the front and back gardens in the summer. During your stay I’m generally around during the day (I work in the evening) but guests can always contact me by mobile if I’m not around. Other things to note Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.30am (later by arrangement). Choose from bacon and eggs or yoghurt and granola with home grown fruit and nuts. Apple juice is pressed from our own Discovery apples and eggs are provided by the hens in the front garden. I aim for very limited food miles!
