Walk to the beach down the street, hike the trails/snow shoe at Castle in Clouds, or visit one of the ski resorts in the area. The house can comfortably sleep 6 with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds. There are 2 full baths, a beautiful screened-in porch, patio, and a well stocked kitchen. Set in the lake community of Suissevale, the house is a short walk to States Landing beach/boat launch and about a mile from Suissevale beach. Castle in the Clouds hiking / snowshoeing trails are an 8 minute drive. The space Access to Suissevale amenities: 2 beaches, tennis courts, & playgrounds. The open concept floor plan has 3 bedrooms including a master suite with a bathroom. There is another full bathroom for the other 2 bedrooms to use. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials including a Keurig Duo Plus Single-Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, crockpot, dishwasher, and a blender. The 2 living areas, all three bedrooms, and screened-in porch have SmartTV's if you want to use your streaming services. There is a washer and dryer located in the basement. Enjoy the screened in porch, patio and fire pit in the yard. Patio furniture and a grill are available in the warmer months. Guest access Access to 1st floor (kitchen, dining, living room and bedroom areas), 2nd floor loft sitting area with 55" smart TV for streaming, screened porch and front deck with gas grill (weather permitting) and washer/dryer in the full basement. Other things to note Summer rules: Suissevale association does not allow renters at the Suissevale beach on Saturdays (changeover day). At all times guests are prohibited from beaching any jet skis or boats in the designated boat area on Suissevale Beach. This includes all days of the week, including Saturdays. The use of the designated boating area is reserved for Suissevale members only There is a convenience store a 5-minute drive away and a larger grocery store in Center Harbor (15 min) and Meredith (25 min) away. You can bring your kayaks or paddle boards and store them under the patio for your stay. States Landing beach/boat launch is about 5 minute walk from the house. We don't wear outdoor shoes in the house, and while we can't enforce the no-shoe policy, we'd appreciate if you leave the shoes at the door. The thermostat is in the hallway. Please turn the dial to adjust the temperature to your liking. Please note that the stove in the living room is decorative and not functional.
