This cozy cabin is located in a quiet little town surrounded by Amish, Country Stores, and family farms. It is a perfect getaway for families, friends or those just needing a quiet retreat. We are located about 30 minutes from State College and Penn State University. We are also only about 10 minutes from Greenwood Furnace. There are numerous country stores in the area for you to shop at. The cabin is also handicapped accessible. The space The main floor is a cozy living space with plenty of seating in the living room and dining area. The dining table can seat approximately 12 people when all boards are in. The cabin only sleeps 8, but you may have others come to visit while you are there but you must first communicate that to us. Although, only 8 may spend the night. Extra chairs are available if needed. There is air conditioning on the main floor. The lower level stays cools and there are also fans provided if needed. The Sun-room is a cozy little sitting area with rocking chairs and a small table. The washer and dryer is located in the main bathroom. The bedrooms on the main floor are comfortable and the the night stands all have charging ports for your convenience. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of sheets , pillows and blankets. There is a stair-lift that comes up to the main level. The lower level has a cozy living room with a TV. It is a smart tv so please bring your login information. Directions will be provided on how to use the tv. The bedrooms on the lower level are comfortable and cozy. The bathroom on the lower level has a shower only, no bath tub. There is currently no air conditioning on the lower level. Although, it does seems to stay cool and fans are provided. There is a small table off the hallway that can be used as a work station or a place to play games , cards, etc. Please respect our property as you would your own and enjoy your stay! Guest access Total access to the property with the exception of the garage. Other things to note We are in the woods and a very infrequent citing of animals common to the woods may be seen. Also, our neighbor is a hunter and our guests may hear him practice shooting.
