Welcome! Superb 18th century house, along the banks of the Arize, which invites calm and serenity. You can stay there with family or friends to spend warm and rejuvenating moments. Ideally located in the village, a 3-minute walk to the historic center and a 6-minute walk to shops with all amenities. The pleasant, bright and spacious house as well as its two very welcoming gardens, one with a view of the cathedral and the other with the pool. The space In the garden you might be lucky enough to spot the squirrels that live near the house. The melodious songs of the different species of birds will fill you with happiness. On the ground floor: - Large entrance with coat rack, racks under the staircase with hangers and storage space. - Large room, kitchen open to the dining room with open fireplace. Large windows and French windows overlooking the wooded park, swimming pool. - Large living room, TV area, library area and closed fireplace area. - Two bedrooms, the 1st walk-through, bed 140 and 2 single beds, a sink, dressing room, a desk. The 2nd, 180 bed, walk-in closet, bay window with park view. - Bathroom, 2 sinks, walk-in shower, jacuzzi bathtub. - Toilet and laundry room (washing machine, drying racks, iron). Upstairs: - Two bedrooms (view of wooded park, swimming pool) with in each bedroom, a bathroom, shower, sink. - the 1st, bed 140, chest of drawers, dressing table, dressing room. - the 2nd, bed 140, 2 single beds, dressing room, a desk. - Mezzanine with 140 bed, exposed beams with skylight view of the starry sky. - Toilet, sink. Guest access The whole house except the outbuildings which are closed. Other things to note You can do anything on foot! The house is ideally located in a quiet area, on the banks of the Arize, a tributary of the Garonne, which gives it all its charm and sweetness of life. Hiking trail departures are accessible from the house and historic center. The house is a 3-minute walk from the historic center, which today has seven listed monuments, including Sainte-Marie Cathedral and its episcopal treasury. You can take a break at the traditional La Halle restaurant or just have a drink. No visit to the city is complete without a trip to the Papogay shooting museum, a traditional festival that dates back to the 100-year war and brings the village to life every first weekend in May. There you will find the Tourist Office. A few minutes' walk to shops, bakery, butcher, tobacco press, Proxi convenience store, hairdresser, florist, Au Comptoir du Jeu bar (play area for 4 to 99 year olds, have a drink, snack, themed evening). On Sunday mornings, the farmers market and a cash withdrawal point.
