Perfect for romantic retreats, family vacations, holiday celebrations. The space Welcome to the Prospector! Beautiful rustic log cabin! This cozy cabin can comfortably accommodate up to four guests. The cabin includes one twin bunk bed, one full bed, small kitchen, and one full bathroom. With 80 acres of private ranch land surrounding the prospector it will feel like you have the place to yourself. Enjoy the gorgeous panoramic views and the sounds of nature right in front of your cabin. Star gaze at a magical night sky with more stars than you have ever seen before and a clear view of the milky way. Book a whole week for the holiday and gather all of your family together for memory filled time that they will talk about for years to come. The cabin is private but is located in a historic ranch. The ranch has 7 other cabins located nearby but are all separate and private units. The water is not potable (not drinkable). It is safe for taking showers and for cooking. We will provide bottles of water upon arrival. Trail Ride & Horsemanship Lesson Bordering the national forest, enjoy a guided trail ride paired with a hands-on horsemanship lesson. Closed December through March (winter months- no rides) • Full experience (ages 12+): $150 per person • Youth (under 12): $85 per rider Requirements: • Maximum weight: 245 lbs • No recent surgeries (within the past 6 months) Important: Availability depends on horse and instructor schedules—please contact us first to check dates and secure your spot. Great for all skill levels—let’s get you on the trail! The hot tub is SHARED with other guests and comfortably fits up to four people—perfect for a cozy soak, but not built for big groups. We are pet friendly with the exception of certain breeds like Pit bulls, German Shepherds, and Rottweilers. ($75 Pet fee). 4x4 vehicle will be needed during winter months due to terrain conditions when it snows. (Generally from Nov-March) Be sure to add our listing to your Airbnb Wishlist! Guest access With 80 acres of ranch land to explore, and then another 350,000 acres of Pikes National Forest, you will feel like you have the place to yourself. Your cabin is 100% yours. Other things to note * The water is NOT DRINKABLE please make sure to bring your own water. We will provide a few bottles of drinking water upon check in. *NO smoking or vaping is allowed indoors. *We have a little recreation center that has a TV with DVD Player along with a pool table, couches etc. It is a great place to stretch out and relax. *Please don't go inside of the animal pens or feed them. We take in a lot of special needs animals that no one wants, and they are often on special diets. *We do highly advise that you purchase traveler's or trip insurance to protect your purchase in the event of poor weather, illness, or other factors outside our control that would cause you to have to cancel after booking. Many credit cards offer this protection as well.
