Ground floor at The Manse

This self-contained flat with its own entrance is on the ground floor of our beautiful Victorian home, The Manse. One large bedroom contains a king size bed and day bed (converts to 2 single beds) perfect for a family, friends sharing or a comfortable longer stay. A double sofa bed in the living space adds flexibility. Five minutes walk in to Altrincham and 10 mins walk to the Metro, with trams direct to central Manchester. 15 mins drive to the airport and Cheshire countryside. The space The flat is accessed directly, with its own separate front door, from our large drive way where you will have your own parking space (2 available for the flat). Walking through a porch area, perfect for storing coats and bags, or even a bike, you enter the living space with dining space for 4, sofa and TV and small kitchen. The kitchen is perfect for preparing simple meals with fridge, combination microwave oven and plug in 2 ring induction hob. It should be noted that there is no integrated hob or individual oven. The sofa in this room is a double sofa bed if more flexible sleeping space is needed. Through a small corridor are the shower room, with large walk in shower, and bedroom. The bedroom is large (4.5 x 4.1m / 200 sqft) and can be very versatile. Standard set up is with a king size bed and day bed, but the day bed can be made into a double or twins. We also have a travel cot if required. For guests who need to work from the flat, the dining table can be used as a desk or a desk can be set up in the bedroom on request. We have excellent wi-fi. You would be welcome to use the laundry facilities of our house (washing machine and drier) which are located on the same floor as the flat. All the rooms were refurbished and decorated January 2024. Guest access You have full independent access to the flat. You will not be able to access our family home, but stays of more than a week can use our laundry facilities. We have a cleaner who will access the flat weekly for stays of more than a week.
