The cabin has a great room with a full galley kitchen, a dining area with room for the whole family, and a living room featuring a wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy Lake Superior views from the large windows or step out onto the lake-facing deck off the great room. The cabin features a king guestroom as well as a double guestroom with two full beds and either a futon or sleeper sofa in the living room for additional guests. Conveniently located near the bottom of Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minnesota, this amazing location provides easy access to Lutsen Mountains Recreation Area as well as many other local attractions. In the winter, enjoy a day of skiing at the Midwest’s premiere ski resort. During the summer months, the Alpine Slide and site-seeing Gondola are two popular activities to do at Lutsen Mountains. The Superior National at Lutsen Golf Course is a recently renovated 27-hole golf course located right across the street. The Gitchi Gami State Trail is easily accessible across Highway 61 from the Lutsen Log Cabins. Just ten miles in either direction you will find a fabulous State Park: going west you will find Temperance River State Park and going east you will find Cascade River State Park. The picturesque town of Grand Marais is just a twenty-minute scenic drive away. Grand Marais is home to the North House Folk School and Grand Marais Art Colony.
