Welcome to our charming retreat Villa Pheasant - a traditional Finnish house with a rich history since 1940, standing tall as one of the rare survivors untouched by wartime flames. Immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere, with expansive yard where you'll be greeted by feathered residents - pheasants gracefully inhabiting the surroundings. Despite its vintage charm, our home seamlessly blends tranquility with modern convenience for a comfortable stay. The space Key Features: Location: Our home is conveniently located only 3.5 km from the bustling city center, offering a serene retreat in a quiet residential neighborhood by the river. Architecture: Immerse yourself in the authenticity of Finnish living with our traditional two-story wooden house. Bedrooms: Find comfort in three cozy bedrooms, with two located upstairs and one on the ground floor for added convenience. One of them being a children's room featuring a bunk bed. We hope this adds to the appeal for families traveling with children. Living Spaces: Unwind in the spacious living room and enjoy home-cooked meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, both located on the ground floor. A convenient WC is also situated downstairs. Bathroom: Refresh yourself in the well-appointed bathroom located on the upper floor. Entrance: In addition to our cozy features, we have a spacious entrance area with underfloor heating. This is perfect for drying snowy clothes and gear quickly, providing an extra level of comfort during your stay. Fire places: We'd like to inform you that our house is equipped with fireplaces and wood stoves, adding warmth and ambiance. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we do not allow their use during your visit. This precaution is in place to ensure the safety of everyone. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you enjoy the other amenities and the cozy atmosphere! Guest access We want you to feel right at home during your stay. All rooms in the house, as well as the spacious backyard, are at your disposal for your enjoyment. Feel free to make yourself comfortable in every corner of the house. Please note that the storage building in the backyard and the side attic are excluded from guest access. These areas are private and not available for use. Other things to note Our home is adorned with a Christmas tree, twinkling lights, and festive decorations, making it the perfect place to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit.
