Eider House - Waterfront Cottage

Nestled in the heart of Gros Morne National Park, with surrounding views of the Tablelands and Gros Morne Mountain from our deck! Follow in the footsteps of Lee Wulff and fly fish for wild Atlantic Salmon on licensed salmon rivers in the area. Plan summer day trips of hiking, kayaking and berry picking or Winter excursions of snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the woods. We are close to restaurants in the area, the ferry to Woody Point, as well as local Kayaking Tours. The space Our spaces are calm and serene with hardwood floors throughout. Our main bedroom with a Queen bed overlooks the Tablelands with lots of room for luggage, a closet to hang/fold clothes, a desk, and a mini split for heating/cooling control as needed. Our second bedroom has 2 Double beds with luggage benches and a mini split for heating/cooling control as needed. The sofa on the main level pulls out to a double with designated sheets/blankets/pillows as needed. There are bathrooms on both levels with a comfortable stand up shower and towels/toiletries for guest use. The kitchen island seats 8 people and is fully equipped with a chefs flare! We provide coffee and have a mini pantry with basics for the taking. There is a full size washer/dryer (and detergent) for use as needed, as well as a BBQ for summer barbecuing. Relax on our deck and enjoy the stunning views and breathtaking sunsets! Guest access We will provide a code to the keypad prior to checking in and you will have access to all spaces in the house. Other things to note We are a 30 min. drive from Western Brook Pond and the award winning boat tour through the fjords.
