Relax and unwind in this calm, stylish farmhouse in beautiful French River, PEI. In the heart of Anne's Land, enjoy iconic PEI landscapes, beaches and attractions just minutes away, including Cousins Shore, Yankee Hill and Cape Tryon. The house sits on a private 8 acre lot with mature trees, large porch, and a walking trail. We've been working for a few years on restoring the beloved Bernard farmhouse and we're excited to be at a stage where we can finally share our passion project with you! Enjoy the convenience of The Canteen restaurant at the end of the street, as well as Sou'West Restaurant just down the road. The widely renowned Table Culinary Studio and The New London Carriage House Event Centre are less than a 5 minute drive away. You are only minutes away from gorgeous Cousin's Shore Beach and Yankee Hill Beach, as well as the Cape Tryon lookout. Other attractions nearby include the Birthplace of Lucy Maud Montgomery (writer of Anne of Green Gables) and the Anne of Green Gables Museum. You are also close to beautiful fishing communities like Stanley Bridge and New London. And roughly a 20 minute radius to many major tourist destination communities, including North Rustico, Cavendish, Malpeque and Victoria by the Sea. The house is located about 40 minutes from Charlottetown and 30 minutes from Summerside. The town of Kensington is a 15 minute drive and offers all your essentials, including groceries, gas station, drugstore, bank and ATM, two family restaurants, two cafes, hardware store and liquor store.
