Newly remodeled, unique, cozy “Yooper camp” style, in a 4 unit building, in the city of Munising. Walk, bike, or a very short drive to everything Munising has to offer, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, beaches,waterfalls, hiking/biking/ski trails. Full kitchen with basics, handmade countertops & doors, new bed, futon in living area, front porch with seating, high speed internet access. No TV. Paved multi use trail just steps from the front door. Locked storage for bikes/kayaks upon request. The space Parking and entry is at the front of the building. A large front porch greets you, and entry door is green. There is seating for four on the front porch as it is shared with guests booked at The Studio Sweet@UPtown Inn. Enter into the open living/kitchen/dining area, with handmade hooks and bench for outerwear/purse/backpacks, just inside the entry door. The living room has a comfy upholstered chair, futon, and Amish rocker for lounging. In the kitchen you will find an apartment size range, large refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, and all cooking/dining essentials, including spices and some condiments. The bathroom is just beyond the kitchen, with shower stall, vintage vanity base,and handmade sliding barn door. The bedroom is adjacent to the living area and features a vintage garage door headboard, new memory foam queen bed/bedding,driftwood shelves, blackout and privacy curtains. Other things to note We are located about 400 feet from Munising Bay, on a main street in town. We have done our best to mitigate sound, but do expect to hear creaky floors and footsteps from upstairs, if that apartment is occupied.
