This modest cottage is located on a working farm at Barry Corner, where the Barry family lived from 1864-1881. Anna Barry was the teacher of Laura Ingalls Wilder. The farm is just up the hill from Pepin, and a short distance from Stockholm, Maiden Rock, and Plum City. The cottage is attached to a garage space where you might enjoy sitting when the weather is right! Swede Heir Rentals, LLC invites you to come stay on the farm! #swedeheirbnb The space The cottage is a modest, petite, one-level space that is perfect for a landing spot for your visit to the Pepin area. You'll enjoy the quietness of rural life, while also taking in a bit of farm charm. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking needs. Guest access The Farmhand Cottage is attached to a garage where you'll find patio furniture and a grill for outdoor cooking. Please open doors for air circulation while using grill or move grill outside. Enjoy a walk in the 120 year old grove of trees directly behind the cottage, and enjoy the view of cows roaming the beef pasture from the cottage.
