The house is decorated in the traditional lake cottage décor with pine paneling and floors. Hot air heating with a modern furnace and air conditioning in the master bedroom. Kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans including a lobster pot, crockery, knives and other utensils. Two TV's with premium cable, WIFI and high speed internet. Outdoor grill and fire pit. We provide a boat mooring as well as two kayaks for your use. The space There is a mooring that comes with the house with a shared ( with my brother's house) dinghy for going back and forth. We ask that boats are not kept on the beach to conserve space as well as protection from the on shore breezes that often come up in the afternoon. The house has been in the family you many years and is cared for very personally. We take pride is keeping it clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is part of an extended family compound that has been in the family for three generations. Sebago Lake is the second largest in Maine, 12 miles long and 9 miles wide, and 45 minutes away from the Portland International Airport. The lake is 360 feet deep and so pure that it is the water supply for the city of Portland. For anglers, the fishing is excellent boasting landlocked Salmon and Lake Trout. Our sandy beach cove is very secluded and offers a wonderful view of the lake. There is an excellent public golf course 20 minutes away and Douglas Mountain, 15 minutes away, offers hiking trails that bring you to the summit in a short time with magnificent views of the surrounding forest, the many lakes and ponds in the area, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The magnificent Autumn of brisk clear days offers outstanding colorful foliage. Guest access The house is private and exclusively for your own use. However, the beach is shared with my brother's house with plenty of room for both. Other things to note We are 45 minutes from Shawnee Peak Ski area in Bridgton, ME and one hour from North Conway, NH for shopping and exploring.
