The incredible secret river is only 30 minutes on foot. The space We accept a maximum of 4 adults at this property. Guests can transport their luggage and other items to and from the house via the easy-to-use cargo transport cable car for free! They may park their cars for free on the road next to the cable car and walk up the mountain path 5-7 minutes to the house. The house has floor heating powered by solar energy, a wood stove (wood is provided), a washing machine, a huge terraced garden/patio with children's swing, lots more sloping land ideal for children to explore, and a large perimeter fence to keep wild animals out and small kids in. Please do not book in spring and fall if you are not comfortable heating with wood. The lower floor has a double room with ensuite bathroom, private entrance, and kitchenette. The middle floor has an extra-wide wraparound south-facing wood balcony, a modern kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher, and steamer oven, a toilet, and a large dining room/living room including a beautifully restored traditional open fireplace. The top floor has 2 double rooms (one with private entrance) and a bathroom with bathtub. The owner is an experienced carpenter and personally renovated this stone ruin over the course of 15 years with great attention to detail. He considers it his masterpiece and his final building. He is in his 70s and has lived 10 minutes further up the mountain since arriving in the valley in the 1970s. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and garden. The public path passing to the west of the house is used by only a handful of residents living 10 minutes further up the mountain.
