Midway Meadows Downtown on the Park

Best of Both! Very short walk to the eclectic downtown Midway and all its restaurants and specialty shops or walk out the back door and take your very own walking path to the Walter Bradley Park (see photos for Park and park map) which lead to several walking trails meandering along Lees Branch Creek. Relax on the large screened-in porch in the evening or make a fire in the great room. You will be pleasantly surprised when you step into this 1880’s restored railroad homestead. The space The front part of the house is the original railroad home of the 1880’s that serves as the living room (has sofa bed) with a loft. (Note: the loft is currently used for storage but will be accessible in the near future). The mid part of the house is 1930’s space that has been completely redone in 2016 and contains dining area, full size kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 modern baths and laundry room. The rear part is a large family room (library) with fireplace (seasonal) that opens to a large screened porch. Although it can accommodate 6 guests when you include the sofa bed, it is best suited for 4 guests with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Guest access The loft will not be accessible to guests at this time. Other than this area, guests will have access to the entire house and property. This is the owners personal residence that she still resides in a few days a month. While she’s not there, she would like her guests to enjoy it as much as she has for the last 35 years. Other things to note Well behaved pets are welcome but the yard is not fenced. Please follow the local leash laws when outside and pick up after your pet. There is a dog park in walking distance behind the property via the park trails. Please keep pets off the beds and furniture. We provide a generous stock of basics such as detergent, tp, etc. for your stay but we do not replenish those supplies during your stay. We also do not provide maid service or do laundry during your stay. That is the guests’ responsibility.
