You are blocks away from Berkeley institutions like the Cheese Board, Chez Pannise, and the Monterey Fish Market, and walking distance from UC Berkeley Campus, downtown Berkeley, and various parks. The apartment is newly built, with a beautifully furnished modern interior appointed with artistic modern and vintage furniture and original art. The space The apartment is around 650 square feet, and divided into an open kitchen/living room space (where the pull out couch is located) and then a separate bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom is clean and modern with a shower and tub. The space is bright and airy an opens directly onto a large garden (that is shared with us upstairs). There are vegetable beds, mature fruit trees, shady areas to relax, a lawn to sprawl out on, and a butterfly and hummingbird garden. There are also ducks in the front yard for added fun (and eggs!). The apartment is on the first floor of a large old Victorian, and we live upstairs. The apartment is completely separate and has a separate entrance. The apartment is soundproofed, and completely quiet at night - however you may hear the pitter patter of our toddlers’ feet during the day.
