Wharf House - Room 3

This is the second room listed in the Wharf House, so if you are a couple of family, you can book two rooms. Originally constructed from native Kauri in circa 1830, the Wharf House has a colourful history including operating as Rawene's first hospital in 1909. The Wharf House has been thoughtfully restored and commands a prime waterfront position in town - walking distance to everything. Guest access You are welcome to use the TV room downstairs or sit outside in the garden. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the main kitchen. Off street parking is available. Hokianga Takeaways is the only option and closes at 7pm. Alternatively, it’s a 20-minute drive to Opononi for pub and restaurant meals. The Wharf House is conveniently located on the doorstep of the Hokianga Vehicle Ferry, Rawene Service Station, Rawene Foodmart, No. 1 Parnell Art Gallery and Cafe, Simply Fun puzzle shop, Hokianga Takeaways, Clendon House, the Rawene Library, and Wardy's fruit shop. A $2-coin operated laundromat is located next door.
