Schroeder Shores-On Lake Superior-20 Min to Lutsen

Welcome to our serene retreat nestled along the shores of Lake Superior! Our log home offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, providing an escape for those seeking tranquility. No televisions or distractions here just quality time and beautiful memories. Close to Lutsen ski area, Caribou Falls, Superior Hiking Trail, Sugarloaf Nature Center, and many State Parks. Basement is unfinished we ask guests not to use please. The space The two main floor bedrooms have queen beds. Upper level loft is open and has 2 twin beds and a separate bathroom with tub/shower. There is 2 main floor bathrooms. Guest access Guests may use the whole home with the exception of the basement which is unfinished. Other things to note There is a charcoal grill that can be used. You'll just need to pull it out from under the deck. Each room is temperature controlled with its own thermostat. This home is heated with warm board in floor heat. We are right on Lake Superior so you won't be warm in the summer. The lake effect keeps it cool in the cabin this is why we opted not to put A/C in, you just don't need it on Lake Superior. Sleeping with the windows open listening to the waves in the summer is our absolute favorite.
