Come relax and recharge in a charming country cottage, bright, fully equipped, and surrounded by a beautiful garden with views of the majestic Volcano. The area is ideal for adventure lovers, offering rafting, canyoning, paragliding, mountain biking, horseback riding, and coffee tours. The space The house is designed in a tiny house style, with only essential spaces, optimized to the fullest. The many large windows offer beautiful views of the garden and the Turrialba Volcano, creating a strong connection with the outdoors and giving the feeling of a more spacious interior. The ground floor includes: the main bedroom, bright and spacious, with a high-quality orthopedic double mattress and a storage unit a bathroom finished with natural materials such as local stone slabs, wood, and river stones a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with a floating table, featuring a glass wall that opens two-thirds of the way onto a large 10 m² terrace overlooking the garden, the village of Aquiares, and the volcano a small living area with a sofa bed made from a high-quality single mattress, which can be arranged as a bed for a fifth guest The spacious and bright mezzanine serves as the second bedroom and includes a double bed and storage furniture. We have a laundry room on the property, equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and all necessary cleaning products. For appliance care, this area is not accessible to guests. However, we offer a laundry service for your convenience: simply hand us your clothes, and we will return them clean, dry, and neatly folded. The service is paid in cash and costs 2,500 colones per hour. Guest access All types of vehicles can access Casa Kawö. The entire route is paved, except for the last 200 meters, which are on a well-maintained gravel road. Parking is available directly in front of the house, in an authorized, very quiet, and safe area. Security cameras cover the exterior, including the parking area, and the village has a security guard who patrols several times during the night. Access to the house is managed through a secure key lockbox with a code, allowing for a smooth and independent arrival. We remain available at all times should you need any assistance. Other things to note The houses are located in Aquiares, an exceptional area surrounded by nature. Just a 20-minute walk away, you’ll find an impressive 40-meter waterfall, perfect for a refreshing escape. Aquiares is home to the largest single-block coffee farm in Costa Rica. The plantations are cultivated using agroforestry practices, creating beautiful landscapes and many trails ideal for hiking. From the house, guests can walk to the village café, where a wide variety of coffees produced on the Aquiares farm are served. Guests can also enjoy a 4-hour coffee tour to learn about the entire coffee process, visit the beneficio (the coffee processing facility where beans are pulped, fermented, washed, and dried), and take part in a coffee tasting. Birdwatching tours are available as well, with over 500 bird species recorded on the farm, along with horseback riding and other activities. A short drive away, you’ll find the Pacuare River, one of the most famous rivers in the world for rafting, offering an adrenaline-filled experience through breathtaking landscapes. Canyoning, paragliding, mountain biking, visits to the Turrialba volcano and its crater, the CATIE botanical garden, nocturnal wildlife tours (including reptiles), and many other activities are also available.
