Arrive and relax in this calm, stylish space with amazing views over the Cumbrian fells that will inspire walkers and lovers of the countryside. A unique, light and spacious layout situated only a mile from the National Park. The property is ideally suited for those wanting to explore the high fells, stroll along nearby lake shores, cycle, swim or just enjoy the peace and quiet of a rural setting. It is 3 miles from the vibrant town of Cockermouth with its many coffee houses and restaurants The space The barn conversion is set over three floors with scenic views of the Western Fells, including Skiddaw. There is a log burning stove ( fire lighters are provided and logs supplied at extra cost) to make the living area feel welcoming and cosy. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of work surface, crockery, utensils and cookware if you want to create fabulous holiday food! There are three nicely decorated bedrooms, either with views of the fells or the garden. There is also a study, if a quiet space is needed for remote working or just relaxing with a book. Outside is a patio and garden, mainly to lawn which benefits from afternoon and evening sunshine. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property and garden. Other things to note There is parking and turning space for two cars. Please reverse into the parking spaces either side of the door. Please do not use the driveway of our neighbours house.
