🌊🌴 Escape to Hope Garden Retreat 🌴🌊 Wake up to the soothing sounds of coconut fronds swaying in the gentle trade winds. Sip your morning tea or coffee on the porch watching the sunrise while listening to the sounds of ocean waves. Lounge by the pool, cocktail in hand, surrounded by palms with butterflies and hummingbirds dancing around. After a day on the beach or exploring, rinse off in a refreshing rain shower and wrap yourself in the comfort of an evening under the Caribbean stars. The space As you drive in you will pass by mature coconut trees lining the drive. Upon entering the guest house, you will be in an open-concept kitchen and living room area which opens up to the garden and pool through French doors. The breezes flow through the house when windows and doors are open giving you a sense of being outside when inside. Off the kitchen is a full laundry room with a washer and dryer and utility sink and steps from the front door off the kitchen are lines for drying provided beach & pool towels. Follow the hallway to a half bath on your right. At the end are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower the other with a queen bed. Both bedrooms have windows with views of the ocean. Please note: We have our dog Lapsi who lives on the property. She will not enter your space unless you invite her or she is following your hosts when they greet you. AC Units are in all areas of the indoor space. Guest access You will have access and full use of the pool and garden. We have an array of herbs free to harvest to make yourself a cup of bush tea or to use as seasoning in your food prep. (basil, cuban oregano, wild sage, garlic chives, spring onion, lemongrass to name just a few) We also have our sunkissed microgreens growing weekly should you want to purchase while here and can provide coconut water if coconuts are ready. If you would like to use the outdoor grill or outdoor shower you are more than welcome to. They are in the outdoor area outside the main house which your hosts occupy. They are very accommodating. Your rental is for your occupancy only. We do not permit unregistered guests on the property. Other things to note BEFORE booking a stay please take note that we have a beautiful sweet shy dog named Lapsi. She free-roams the yard during the day but does not impose on your space unless you invite her to do so. Should you not like dogs our place may not be a good fit for you. We do our best to keep our price per night reasonable and ask when you book with us that you are mindful of electricity usage and turn off lights, fans and AC units when not in rooms or out for the day.
