"La Zangola" double room, with bathroom

The accommodation is located inside the Podere La Casella, an ancient farmhouse immersed in the Tuscan countryside, on a hill overlooking the Mugello valleys, a stone's throw from the Apennines. The "La Zangola" room is striking for the rationality with which it has been recovered. Both architecturally and in terms of furnishings and equipment, it combines traditional features with more modern solutions, all in an undoubtedly rustic setting, which reproduces typical elements of the Tuscan farmhouse. The space The Podere La Casella, within which the accommodation is located, has 6 rooms in total, each with exclusive services. The offer is completed by some common areas inside and outside the house, freely usable by our guests. Each room retains its own personality and its own peasant flavor, in an atmosphere that brings back the rural life of the old Mugello, when the farmhouse was the home of large families who shared the spaces, both during the working day and in private life. Even today, at Podere La Casella, you can recognize the old layout of the rooms, with their sober furnishings and ancient work tools, elements that marked the Mugello day back then, just as they accompany our guests today in a truly exciting experience in a simple and welcoming environment. PARKING You can leave your car in our own parking lot, adjacent to the house, convenient and safe, shared with other guests. THE ENTRANCE Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by me or my collaborators, and you will be shown your accommodation and all the spaces you will share with the other guests. Along with the access badge, you will receive some instructions that will be useful during your stay at our farm. THE ROOM The "La Zangola" room is located on the first floor of the building and is very rational, soberly furnished, with a view of the garden and the pre-Apennine slopes, with very interesting views. The darkening of the windows, equipped with curtains that guarantee the right level of privacy, takes place through dark doors, present on the outside. The large dresser and the large built-in closet guarantee enough space for clothing even for long stays. The accommodation features a state-of-the-art 32-inch TV and free, unlimited internet access, which is great for business calls and smart working. THE BATHROOM Recently renovated (like the rest of the premises), it is for exclusive use and communicating with the bedroom, suitable to make your stay even more comfortable. It is made by separating the various functions, so we have the sink with mirror and wall-mounted hairdryer overlooking the room, a large shower box in a small dedicated room and an additional room with a window in which toilets and bidets are housed. Toiletries are also included. BREAKFAST ROOM In the large breakfast room, which you will find on the ground floor, you will enjoy an excellent breakfast that will make you start the day in the best way, enjoying the spectacular view of the valley. READING-RELAXATION ROOM We have a special space for our guests. This is the fireplace room. Formerly part of the entrance loggia to the farmhouse, it retains the original features of an ancient era. Here time slows down and you can enjoy a moment of relaxation in every season accompanied by a good drink, perhaps reading a good book or simply enjoying the view of the valley that the large window offers. GARDEN The house is surrounded by a hectare of land, intended as a garden around the accommodations, while the rest is cultivated with olive groves and partly still left as woodland. On beautiful days and especially in summer, the view it offers is very evocative, at any time of the day or night.
