This beautiful 1800's farmhouse is situated in the sleepy town of Buxton, ME and offers an authentic farm stay retreat for guests. Meadowland Farm Inn has 2 private suites that will sleep 5 people comfortably with a private bathroom and a private deck overlooking the horse pastures. During your stay you will have the opportunity to join the owners in the late afternoon hours and spend time with the horses in the barn. Come and enjoy a unique experience for your next vacation getaway! The space 2 recently remodeled spacious bedroom suites that were an addition to the original 1800's farm house. Private entrances to both bedrooms and access to the the private deck is just outside of 2nd floor bedroom. The private bathroom is also located just off the 2nd floor bedroom. Guest access Access to both bedrooms, private bath, private deck as well as some shared outside spaces on the property as agreed upon with owners during your stay. Other things to note While the guest rooms are completely private and there will be no shared spaces within the home, there are areas that abut the main farm house where the owners reside. There may be times when guests are able to hear normal everyday noises from the owner's living area. The property is located on Rt. 112 and there will be traffic sounds during the day. The guests may also hear the horses in the pasture during the day. There will not be access to the main home for guests unless agreed upon by owners during their stay. There are potential shared spaces outside on the property that the guests may request to use/enjoy but will need to be discussed and agreed upon with owners ahead of time. There are animals on the property and guests are expected to respect and follow strict rules and guidelines when it comes to interaction with them for the safety of both the guests and the animals. Any interaction with the animals is strictly to be in the presence of the owners. No access to the horse pastures will be permitted unless in the presence and with the assistance of the owners. Guests are not to feed the animals at anytime unless in the presence of and with permission from the owners. Buxton is located just 30 minutes outside of Portland, ME. It is close to beaches, lakes, amusement parks, malls, outlets, restaurants, breweries, walking paths and just about anything else you are looking for. Please ask host for recommendations for anything you are looking to do while on your stay.
