Awe inspiring, unique, spacious, Canandaigua lakefront timberframe with some of the best views on one of the prettiest lakes in the US. Braeloch Lodge is nestled in a hillside wooded setting with just 5 neighbors off a private 1/2 mile driveway. Plenty of room for families along with many private spaces for privacy and solitude. The driveway, house, and dock can all be accessed by stairs or by a hillside elevator. (tram) Enjoy the recreation room, dock, or simply sit and relish the view. The space The parking area is one flight above the main entrance level to the lodge. It is large enough for 4 cars and also has space for a pickle ball court! One flight of stairs will get you to the main entrance, or take the hillside elevator (tram) that can hold up to 4 people. (The tram can also be used to travel to the lower level of the house, or continue down to the dock. ) You will enter the lodge into a mud room area with full bathroom. On your left you will find the main kitchen , fully stocked and professionally laid out for all your cooking requirements. An 8' island will seat 5 people comfortably, with ample room for food prep and entertaining. Adjoining the kitchen is the 400 sq ft great room with a 25' cathedral ceiling, floor to ceiling windows, couches, TV, coffee table and 9' Black Walnut live edge dining table. Next is a wet bar area, fully stocked for all your beverage prep needs. Also on the main floor is the primary bedroom w/ cathedral ceiling, full bath and and private deck. Upstairs a loft overlooks the main floor and adds another 600 sq. ft of space including extra office/bedroom and reading area. Downstairs you will find another 1800 sq ft of space including a game room with bumper pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, and a vintage authentic coin operated arcade from the 80's. (no quarters necessary) Adjoining the game room are 3 more bedrooms and 2 full baths. (Note: Don't forget to look for the secret room. (If found, the kids may spend the majority of their playtime there...) There are 2 large decks and covered porch (one each level) for a variety of outdoor entertaining activities and for enjoying a breathtaking view- from sunrise to sunset and even into the evening when the moon is bright! When it's time hit the lake, take the short tram ride down to a brand new permanent dock with large swim platform, perfect for launching your boat, swimming, fishing or any water activities on your list. The views at the lake are pretty sweet too, and often you have the whole lakefront by yourself. When you are ready to venture off property, there are a myriad of activities just minutes away. Canandaigua is 11 miles north and has a beautiful water park, theatres, restaurants, Wegmans, and shopping. Naples is a bustling town 7 miles south and also has great restaurants, breweries, wineries, golf, hiking and exploring. The world renowned Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake wine trails are within 40 minutes, and their are countless music and food festivals, museums, art and antique shows spring summer and fall. In winter, Braeloch Lodge is less than 10 minutes from Bristol Mountain,, boasting world class snowmaking, 100+ days of skiing, and the largest vertical drop between the Adirondacks and the Rockies.
