The 1920s Farmhouse on 10 wooded acres on Willoughby Run directly across the street from the Herbst Woods where the first day's infantry battle occurred on July 1st, 1863. It is hard to get much closer, with less than a 2 minute drive to the battlefield and a 4 minute drive to historic downtown Gettysburg. On our property you will encounter our ducks, geese, chickens, Friday the cat, 2 goats and 2 friendly farm dogs The space The rental unit is newly renovated studio apartment with tasteful antique details and windows that overlook the creek and beautiful property. The unit is attached to the main house but has its own private entrance. There is no shared space between the unit and the main house. you will share the lighted front walkway steps to the porch. Rental unit includes: Well lit eased step access to porch and private entrance Queen bed and pull out full bed trundle- Beautiful electric fireplace Nespresso machine Microwave Mini fridge freezer New bathroom with antique furnishings Tv with access to Hulu Live Window views of the creek, property, and barn Our resident ducks and chickens- we encourage you to feed! *note, the trundle bed pulls out from underneath the main bed and remains at floor level*oh Guest access Apartment is attached to main house but completely secluded. There is no shared access between the apartment and the main house. You will share the front walk way steps to the porch but have a private front door into the apartment. there is plenty of parking on the property! Other things to note *DOGS WELCOME!* - we are very dog friendly! For the safety of your dog and the resident animals on the property, we ask for your dog to be leashed while taking walks, there is a lot of land for nice walks and outdoor time!- we do have 2 friendly farm dogs that patrol the property for the protection of the ducks and chickens *note, the trundle bed pulls out from underneath the main bed and remains at floor level* No Cleaning Fee**
