Large and great cabin near Geilo

The space Welcome to our beautiful cottage with four bedrooms. Here the beauty of nature meets modern comfort. With space for 8 people, and about 120 m ² floor space, the cabin is suitable for 1 to 2 families. The cabin is a modern log cabin on the 1st floor with a living room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, large bathroom, and storage room. One bedroom is used both as a bedroom and extra living room or lounge as it in addition to a family bed has a sofa, with table and TV. A great place for the kids and to stay. The cabin has Wi-Fi and 3 TVs with Chromecast. Outside there is a fire pit, gas grill and outdoor furniture. You can drive all the way up to the door both in summer and winter. Parking is right outside the door and there is room for 3 cars. And if you're lucky you'll see the hares that come hopping around the cabin. Often they come all the way up to the terrace. The cabin has 4 bedrooms. Bedroom 1: double bed Bedroom 2: double bed Bedroom 3: Family bed with room for 3 people. A 150 cm bed below and a 90 cm bed above Bedroom 4: 1 family bunk bed with room for 2 persons. There is also a sofa bed in this room which is 120 cm. (room for 1 person) The cabin has 1 large bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a washing machine, here are also good drying possibilities. The cabin has a well-equipped and modern kitchen. In the living room there is a long table with space for 10 people. You do the cleaning yourself. Leave the cabin as it was when you arrived. In the cabin there is a binder, where you can read about what needs to be done before departure in relation to washing the cabin and throwing garbage. Bring your own bedding and towels or rent from us. There is a high chair in the cabin that can be used. No smoking in the cabin. Pets are also not allowed. The nearest grocery store is within a short walking distance. This is also open 24 hours a day. There is also a larger grocery store (Kiwi Hagafoss) approx. 10 min drive away. Approx. 15-20 min drive away you will find Geilo city center which has a rich selection of shops, restaurants and other services. Electric car charger: (For a fee) There is an electric car charger at the cabin that can be used by appointment at an additional cost. In winter: The cabin is centrally located between Hallingskarvet ski resort and Geilo. Ski enthusiast's paradise: With cross-country trails right outside the cabin door and a short drive of about 15-20 minutes to SkiGeilo ski resort, this place is a dream come true for winter sports enthusiasts. In less than 10 minutes you are at Hallingskarvet ski resort which is a hidden ski pearl. This is an eldorado for ski enthusiasts. The ski resort has a height difference of about 510 meters and many great slopes for both alpine and cross-country skiing. Short distance to marked cross-country ski trails, such as Myrland and Raggsteindalen, which are about 10 minutes to drive. Right next to the cabin there is a cozy illuminated trail with a lavvu, benches and a playground for the little ones. Here you can strap on your cross-country skis right outside the cabin! In summer: Right nearby you will find Hallingskarvet National Park which has many nice trails and tracks with versatile hiking opportunities summer and winter. Here you can experience magnificent nature and views. In summer, there are many opportunities to enjoy the best nature has to offer. The cabin is close to great hiking trails and great opportunities for cycling, fishing. Take a trip to Geiterygghytten, Raggesteindalen or to Einsetnuten! It’s a lot to choose from! You can easily get to the large expanses where the fish bite, and the marked trails lead you through the landscape around the high mountain plateau in summer and winter. From Prestholtseter you can follow a 6.5 km long trail that takes you up to the view from 1705 meters above sea level. Sherpas from Nepal have stone laid parts of the trail, and the stonework is an experience in itself. The cabin is located with a short distance to many different activities, cultural offers and experiences. For example: with the sale of local products etc., Langedrag, Hallingskarvet Fjellbad and summer open chairs in the mountain wilderness. There are fishing opportunities in the local area and fishing licenses are sold for Holsfjorden and Hallingdalselva, among others, at Kiwi Hagafoss. Check the "Fiskher" app for a good overview. Only a 5 min. drive away there is a newly renovated sports field at Hol center. Here there is a football field, exercise equipment, running track and 2 outdoor paddle courts that can be used free of charge. In winter it is possible to go ice skating here.
