A well appointed apartment in an owner occupied home. Very private, with lush gardens and minimal host contact, although very communicative. Monica is passionate about hospitality and creating a wonderful experience, rooted in old fashioned charm. We have an eclectic collection of local memorabilia shared in the suite, giving a “curated” experience. Walking distance to old town The space A 1913 simple craftsman home, that had been remodeled in the 1950’s and they gave it ANOTHER front door! So now it makes sense, and guests have a private entrance. We are offering a bedroom (best room in our house) with a bay window overlooking a garden, and a side view of a nearby river. We are on a bluff close to the river, and you can wake up with a view of the river! In addition, the rental has a nicely remodeled big bathroom with a round corner shower and double sinked vanity, for those busy mornings. A small refrigerator is stocked with water for those hot days. Coffee, tea, and creamer are stocked en suite. No breakfast is offered, but so many great places to eat in town, you’ll want to venture out. We are passionate about the history of the area, and would love to share it, as well as being avid outdoors enthusiasts, we can direct you to the prime wildflowers, the funnest drives, the best views, and the best restaurants. Totally seperate from host quarters, and privacy is respected by a locked door. A side yard with chairs is offered for sublime afternoon viewing! A table & chairs just outside the unit is available for guests to eat & take in the garden. The home is within walking distance to the downtown area, with many food & drink choices. During your stay We are very outgoing & friendly, love to meet new people and share this wonderful area.
