Cabin in East Machias

The Raven Cabin - Built in 2024 our A-frame cabin is located on a secluded mountain in East Machias, Maine. This is one of two cabins on this property and sits at a high elevation giving our guests spectacular views of the East Machias River. Enjoy listening to native birds singing and watch the eagles soar overhead as you sip coffee on the front deck. This cabin sleeps 4-5. The space This 700-square foot A-Frame cabin has two levels. On the main level is a kitchen with electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. The living area has a sofa that pulls out into a bed that sleeps one person and an Amish-made rocking chair. In the middle of the living and kitchen area is a dining table that extends for more surface area. It has four chairs, with an additional chair in the corner of the kitchen. There is one bedroom with a full-size bed, a full bath with 36” shower, and a stackable washer and dryer. The kitchen/living area opens onto a deck overlooking spectacular views of the East Machias River and the forest. There are two deck chairs for you to relax and enjoy the view as well as a Weber grill for outdoor cooking. The upstairs loft includes a queen size bed, half bath with toilet and sink, and another deck with a wrought iron settee – the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee in peace and beauty of nature surrounding you. On the back side of the A-Frame, there is a small deck, large rock fire pit, picnic table and outdoor seating. Other things to note This A-Frame cabin sleeps 4-5, depending on your sleeping arrangement needs. The main level has one full size bed and one pull out sofa single bed. The loft has a queen size bed. The loft is accessed by a steep ladder with handrails. The Raven Cabin is located on a mountain and is accessed by an uphill gravel road, just off US-1.
