Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage on the farm. Our cottage is nestled on 150 acres in Independence, MO. This home offers a living room, dining room (seats 8), full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, a laundry room/mudroom, and 3 bedrooms. (King, Queen and full bed). You will find a front and side porch to sit and relax as well as a private back patio where your family can enjoy a fun evening. Each bedroom offers a comfortable bed, hangers for clothing, and a fan to help you relax. The space We are excited to share our peaceful farm with you. We live on 150 acres with 24 for our furry friends. You will get to see cattle...babies coming in the Spring and Summer, a horse named Red, dogs (Bruce, Bella, and Daisy Mae), a cat (Mack), and chickens. The cottage sits on its own private area of the land. You will be able to see our home but I promise we are further away than your neighbor...unless you live on land too. We have security gate at the front of the drive to make sure only wanted guest visit. Hope that is you! Feel free to bring outside shoes and explore the land when you visit. Guest access You will have the cottage and the yard behind it, all to yourself. We do live on the land but will not be in your space. You are welcome to go see the animals just please do not go inside the fenced area. Red, the horse is very sweet and you are allowed to pet him through the fence. If you see us down there working with the animals feel free to come say hello. We have a pool behind the main house and that is off limits to guest, due to safety reasons. Please feel free to walk around the land and explore but do not get on any machinery that is sitting around. Please remember this is a working farm. We want you to have a nice relaxing stay but to be safe while doing so.
