Originally built by the Admiralty in the early 19th century overlooking the harbour - this is a spacious and cosy flat with light-filled rooms and fine views of the Cobb and sea. 50 yards from the beach. Tucked away on the first floor, above the original boat house, it is a peaceful place to see wonderful views of life on the sea, with all the vitality of the harbourside and exceptional views of the Cobb in all weather. A private parking space for one car is within 50 yards of the flat. The space Calm and cosy first floor apartment, at the top of a flight of shallow stairs with two handrails. Large sitting room, bedroom, separate dressing room, kitchen and bathroom. Wonderful big windows overlooking harbour. There are deck chairs and shrimping nets for days on the beach. Double aspect sitting room, with gas central heating and electric cast iron woodburner and two settees. There is an ottoman which can be used as an additional single bed on request. WiFi, TV, radio and cd player, books, maps, cards and games. Dining area and window bench for watching the waves and the world go by. Large double aspect bedroom with king size bed. Fully pocket sprung mattress, 100% cotton sheets , duvet and generous soft pillows. There is an adjacent separate wood panelled dressing room which is down three steps from the bedroom. Well-equipped galley kitchen with serving hatch, overlooking the harbour. Gas hob with electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere. Fridge and freezer, washing machine and separate tumble dryer and drying rack. Cleaning products, all linen, tea towels , hand towel etc . Iron and ironing board. White bone china, glass including flutes, tumblers etc, all cooking utensils , dishes and bowls and a full compliment of cookware including saute pan, wok and cast iron skillet. The bathroom has a full size bath, power shower, wash basin and wc. Hot water is on demand. Fluffy towels, hand towels , face cloths and guest towels. Hairdryer, Molton Brown soaps and hand cream. Hot water is constant on demand. Guest access The flat is self-contained, and you'll have your own key with a front door to Cobb Square. Short breaks available between November and end March, Fri to Mon ( 3 nights) Mon to Fri ( 4 nights) (excluding Christmas and New Year). Dogs only between November/March on request. Sorry no smoking.
