Relax and unwind at our charming storybook cottage overlooking the Hudson River. We are located in historic Stillwater, NY minutes from the Saratoga National Battlefield Park and the Saratoga Springs Racecourse. Each room features Saatva mattresses with luxury bamboo blend linens, ensuite bathrooms, cozy bathrobes, and scrumptious hot breakfast cooked to order in the morning. The space Our 1932 storybook cottage is larger than it appears from the front. The original architectural details were preserved as we updated all of the spaces with 21st century amenities: WiFi, electrical outlets and charging ports, heat and AC with thermostats in each room, new Saatva mattresses, towel warmers, luxury bamboo blend linens, and fluffy down substitute pillows. Guest access Guests enjoy full use of the house including the living room with a fireplace and cozy reading nook, bright dining room, three-season room (with a view of the river), and the gathering room (great room with TV, comfy chairs, game table and selection of games and puzzles), and the shaded deck outside the gathering room. Other things to note Breakfast is cooked to order each morning and always features muffins as well as toast. We have an extensive menu with everything from Rascal Jack's Porridge (this is a storybook cottage after all), a yummy parfait with our own special pecan and coconut granola, Kathleen's chocolate protein smoothie, along with several breakfast casserole dishes - frittata and strata style dishes with a variety of fillings hot from the oven. Gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options are always available too.
