The main bedroom has air-conditioning, the futon bedroom has a fan. The kitchen and bathroom have been recently remodeled. The kitchen features a microwave, filtered water, coffee maker and all of the basic amenities. The main bathroom has a double jacuzzi where you can relax after a long day strolling around Rio. The apartment is located in an area close to restaurants and bars that attract a bohemian crowd, especially on Thursdays and on weekends. The neighbourhood of Gavea is located in between Leblon and Jardim Botanico, some of Rio's best neighbourhoods. Take a 20 minute walk to the nearest beach in Leblon. Or if it's a very hot day, you might like to walk to the Botanical Gardens, about 25 minutes away. You can also walk to Lagoa (Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon), a favorite spot for leisure with a bike/walking lane that circles the entire lagoon (7.5km). Right underneath the apartment, you will find a supermarket (Zona Sul chain), pharmacies and Gavea's mall just 5 minutes away to satisfy all your shopping needs.
