Cozy, Charming Cabin Near Mt. Rainier

Peaceful, rustic retreat. Cozy up by the woodstove in your one-room (but it's a LARGE room) cabin, then wake up and explore nearby hiking (Mt. Rainier 30 minutes away; other hikes walking distance from the front door). Fish, paddleboard, and kayak on nearby Mineral Lake. Enjoy long days outside knowing that you have a cozy oasis home base. This cabin offers the perfect getaway for the active explorer and tranquil homebody alike. (Some limitations--please see Other Things to Note!) The space This one-room cabin at the center of five beautiful acres, and we truly have it all. With gardens, a frog pond, year-round creek, open meadows and cool woodlands, you'll find every micro-ecosystem imaginable. Fresh eggs? You got it. The cabin has running water (cold only) indoors, and a flush-toilet outhouse (+ an indoor potty so no one has to go outside for their midnight pee). An outdoor camp shower can keep you clean. Simple kitchen cooking facilities (toaster oven, butane burner, electric kettle, fridge/freezer) complement a gorgeous woodstove for maximum coziness. The property also has three campsites, which I rent during the summer; two are tucked away and hidden from the cabin. I don't rent the cabin and the nearest campsite at the same time, so everyone has their privacy! Outhouse and camp shower are shared. I'm just starting to rent this out, and in a trial period. I want to share this life I've come to love (I'm a transplanted city girl.) Curious to hear what you think! Guest access You'll be able to access the entire thing. I live here part-time, and while you're staying, I'll be just up the road, easy to reach in case you need anything. Other things to note Just reinforcing that there's an outhouse (flush toilet) near the cabin, an indoor camp potty for nighttime liquids to save you the hike. And a camp shower, which provides heated water in an outdoor, curtained setting. Most folks are here to enjoy the outdoors, which does have some nature and dirt in it. Outhouse and shower are shared with any campers (I rent only one of the three campsites if the cabin is rented, to ensure everyone has their space). I supply washcloths, towels, and soap for a nice washup with teakettle water inside, or the camp shower outside; this works for most people but if it doesn't sound good to you, my cabin is probably not a great fit and I wish you the best!
