the cottage is located in the heart of nature on a 25 ares plot at an altitude of 650 meters. It's a little cocoon. last house in a hamlet of three, you will have only nature as a neighbor. Access is via a 800-meter drivable road (except for low cars). Please note, the road is not snowy in winter. In case of snow, provide chains or leave the car at the start of the road. You will find parking at the mailboxes. The space The cottage is an old cottage that we completely rebuilt while trying to keep all its charm as a small mountain house. Wood and stone are the main materials. This is our main residence but we rent it out when we travel. It consists of: A terrace with an airlock. A living room with lounge and large bay windows overlooking nature. An equipped kitchen (gas stove, sink, small fridge, electric oven, kettle, toaster, table, chairs, plenty of storage, etc.). A small bathroom with shower and sink a toilet. Upstairs A relaxation area with small sofa, desk. Two adjoining sleeping spaces with in the first 2 single beds 140 X 190. In the second, a double bed 140 x 190. Outside, large 20 ares plot and large terrace exposed all day in the sun with garden table, deckchair. Here you will be in the heart of nature. Guest access Access to the cottage is via a 800-meter dirt road (we use it every day with a Nissan Micra). However, we strongly advise against renting our cottage if you have a very low sports car. In winter the road is not snowy and you must use chains in case of snow or leave the vehicle parked at the beginning of the road at the level of the mailboxes. Other things to note We are supplied with water by a spring and we ask guests to be mindful of this rare and precious commodity. We do not use products that are harmful to nature. We also ask that guests not move furniture or roll suitcases to preserve the floors. From our cottage you will be spoiled for choice to go hiking, mountain biking, road biking (asphalt road 800 meters away) and discover all the riches of Alsace.
