Spend the night in the Artist's Home! A simple and charming place to stay. Cozy and colorful cottage in the countryside located just 12 minutes from E6. Due to the landslide at Levanger, the road next to the house is also a main road as an alternative to E6, and thus very accessible for those who are going south or north and need a place to stay. The holiday home usually functions as a writing room and is filled with books, a wood-burning stove and good seating. The space The small holiday home was built in 1994 and has most of what you need to be comfortable for an overnight stay. On the ground floor there is a large living room with a wood-fired stove, a small kitchen, tiled bathroom with heating cables and a bathtub. Toilet in the hallway. On the second floor there are two large bedrooms with their own double bed, and a sleeping alcove in the office between the bedrooms. One of the bedrooms also has an old pull-out bed that fits as a crib. Here there is a relaxed atmosphere with lots of daylight and good views of the Hoklingen lake. The house is surrounded by a wild garden with perennial beds, fruit trees, berry bushes and lilacs, and sits on a small elevation in the landscape and is surrounded by arable land and pastures. Guest access Access to the entire house and garden. Other things to note The property is surrounded by agriculture, so there will be activity from the farmers at times. When harvesting grain or grass, I will inform you about this. The county road is also close by. And in the period while the E6 is being repaired after the landslide on Levanger you have to expect some traffic. Please be aware of children or animals. Dogs must always be on a leash - also here on the property - unless otherwise agreed. (There are sheep in the immediate area, as well as a lot of game). We have drilled for our own groundwater and installed our own treatment plant. Due to the high lime content, the water does not taste good, so I provide drinking water in containers for you. There is a relatively small hot water tank. It is recommended to be mindful of water use.
