Barnes is a picturesque village on the Thames River. It is a safe place with good transport links to central London. Surrounded by water, Barnes is very green and full of bird life, with great pubs, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and boutique shops. South West facing, the property is very light. The flat is a maisonette in a large estate block with great neighbours. It looks out to Harrodian School green and the water. I am renting my home as I'm working away a lot at the moment. The space It is a 1960s maisonette in a large estate block with spacious rooms and lots of light south-west facing. You will see beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the water directly opposite the property. The decor is contemporary. The place is on the second floor and is secure. There are 2 flights of stairs to reach the property and 1 flight of stairs in the property - no lifts. There is no bannister but only a handrail on the property's stair so not suitable for children, elderly etc. There are 2 dedicated work spaces, in the living room and in the spare bedroom (standing desk). The property can fit 3 people being 1 double bed room and 1 single bed room and/or the single bed room has a pull out bed to be used in the same room. Linen and towels are provided. I have rented the place before and have had lovely guests. Looking for those that are respectable, clean and tidy - and great communicators! Guest access The entire flat excluding one bedroom which I hold for storage. Other things to note I will be vacating the property so it is all yours to enjoy. I like to have guests with at least 2 x 5 star reviews. Transportation links. 30 minutes walk to Hammersmith Tube. 12 minutes walk to Barnes Bridge Station 30 minutes walk to Barnes Station 30 minute bus to Richmond. There are multiple buses that pass the property that take you to Hammersmith Bridge (which you have to walk over to Hammersmith Tube). Barnes parking is permit-resident only 8am-noon. Excepting first come first served few spaces outside the property. There is one double bed/main room + a single bed/spare room, with a separate pull out bed. The place is not suitable for young children given the stairs. There is a cleaner who comes weekly for 2 hours and can be paid directly at £30 pw for stays over 10 days to ensure the property upkeep. She is great! The cleaning fee attached to the booking will pay for the final clean.
