Quiet and secluded, on the edge of the forest with vineyard views and a glimpse of the ocean, Willow Creek Retreat is the perfect getaway from it all. Drive through the gate and park in the carport under Redwoods and Douglas Firs. Feel your breathing slow as you walk through the forest to the house and let yourself in. On the first floor, you'll find a living room with vaulted ceilings and access to a deck overlooking a vineyard below and the far off ocean. There is also a small, but generously outfitted kitchen with an adjoining character filled dining room. A fireplace(firewood provided) and a gas stove keep you cozy during winter nights. A small bedroom with a queen bed and a large screen TV are off the entry and a remodeled bathroom with shower completes the floorpan Radiant floor heating keeps the kitchen, bathroom, and entryway pleasing to your bare feet. Up the open stairway to the 2nd floor, you'll find a sizable bedroom with queen bed and views and a door to the beautiful wood paneled bathroom complete with tub that has an amazing window into the front forest. Work from home at the stylish desk and ergonomic chair utilizing our high speed fiber optic internet. There is also a bunk room for the kiddos on this floor. PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS The deck has a dining table for 6 and built in bench seating. Just below the deck, you'll find a hot tub and chaise lounges alongside a swing. To the side, you'll find another relaxing spot - a beautiful fenced-in secret garden with seating and a wide variety of carefully curated plants.(something is always blooming!) There are a number of small lawns (croquet set available) and paths and nooks and crannies to explore throughout the 1.7 acre fully fenced property. A Generac generator provides automatic backup in any power outages. -5 minute drive to the town of Occidental. -20 minutes to the Russian River (we have inner tubes you can borrow) -30 minutes to the coast, Bodega Bay or Jenner. -Wine tasting abounds.
