The traditional cottage Světlík (Lichtenberg) is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Lusatian Mountains (Lausitzer Gebirge). The large garden with mature trees provides absolute peace, privacy in semi-seclusion and offers views of the highest peaks of the Lusatian Mountains. It is a 200-year-old original cottage, one of five in this area that has been preserved from the original settlement of Světlík. It is surrounded by pastures and meadow forests. The nearby pond is part of a bird sanctuary. The space The cottage with a magnificent view of the region is surrounded by pastures and meadow forests. The cottage is named after the nearby pond Světlík, which is part of a bird reservation where it is possible to see cranes, a sea eagle or a red kite. Guests have access to a large garden with mature trees, an outdoor fireplace and a children's swing. The location on the very edge of the village ensures plenty of peace and privacy and offers views of the highest peaks of the Lusatian Mountains, Pěnkavčí vrch and Jedlová hora. You can also see the ruins of Tolštejn Castle, which is also a suitable place for a hike. Two protected landscape areas and one national park intersect here: Lusatian Mountains, Elbe Sandstones and the Czech-Saxony Switzerland National Park. The place is an ideal starting point for all possible sports and hiking activities. Chalupa Světlík is located 7 km from the towns of Rumburk and Varnsdorf. The location of the cottage offers countless opportunities for active leisure and is ideal for those looking for a quiet and active rest in the beautiful nature that surrounds the cottage. From winter skiing in the nearest ski resort of Horní Podluží (2.5 km away), Jedlová ski resort (5 km) or cross-country skiing trips directly from the cottage with enough snow or on nearby maintained cross-country ski trails in the vicinity, to summer hikes to the surrounding area on foot or by bike. The local landscape is interwoven with a network of bike paths that will take you to Germany, Jetřichovice, Elbe Sandstones, Šluknov Promontory, etc. Accommodation is only possible without pets. Our cat lives in the cottage. This is a rental of our family cottage, so please respect the occasional occurrence of some personal items, which will not bother you in any way. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with a dining room and a spacious living room also with a dining table. Also a cool room for storing food. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and appliances - induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine (capsules must be brought by yourself) and other common kitchen equipment. The living room has a TV with Netflix and high-speed WiFi throughout the property. Guest access You can reach the cottage by car. The last 500 meters are on a gravel road between the fields. It is possible to park 2-3 passenger cars on the property. The local road is completely quiet, without the traffic of other vehicles.
