With views of the Green Mountains, you will be a short drive away from quaint towns, skiing, breweries, hiking, and swimming. On the property, enjoy the fresh mountain air, changing leaves, and local flora and fauna. In summer, cool off after a hike or bike in the shared pool. In winter, you're 15 minutes to Mad River Glen and 30 to Sugarbush Ski Resort. The space This private space in Vermont's Green Mountains is an above the garage apartment. Drop your cycling, hiking, ski, or swim gear in the shared mud room (a Vermont staple) and enjoy the tree-top views from your quiet space. Stay in and cook, play games, watch tv, or work. Explore the property and gaze at the mountain views, take a dip in the shared pool, enjoy the fish in the pond, and breath in the fresh mountain air. Guest access Guests may park in the turn-off on the driveway or across the drive in the designated parking spot. Please do not park behind the garage doors. The stone walkway leads you to enter the house through the mudroom - the door between the garage and the main house. Feel free to leave shoes and gear there. Follow the yellow door up to your apartment. Other things to note Our property is located at 1,400ft in a rural, residential neighborhood. Like much of Vermont, the property is on a dirt road. In winter and during mud season (early March - early April), we suggest having a vehicle with 4WD or AWD and all-season or snow tires.
