The space Welcome to Heather Cottage, where charm and character embrace you the moment you step through the pretty pink door. Nestled in the peaceful village of Osmington, yet just a stone’s throw from the lively Weymouth, this idyllic retreat is the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. Our favourite local walk is to the White Horse, followed by a visit to the Smugglers Inn for a bite to eat. Plus, within 15 minutes, you can explore stunning sights like the famous Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove—two of Dorset’s greatest treasures. Everything you need is just minutes away, with supermarkets, restaurants, and pubs close by, making it the ideal base for your getaway. Imagine unwinding in the cosy lounge, snuggled up with a book and a hot chocolate, feeling like you’ve stepped into a Pinterest board. Or gather around the dining table, sharing a meal and reminiscing about the day's adventures, while the evening sun dances on the exposed stone walls. As the day winds down, play board games in the lounge, with endless cups of tea. And when it’s time to sleep, sink into the luxurious king-size bed, dreaming about tomorrow’s exploration. The Cottage Layout: As you enter, you’ll find the hallway opening directly into the dining room, which comfortably seats up to six adults. The kitchen is to your right, with a spacious lounge ahead. Upstairs, the main bathroom is straight ahead, featuring a shower, toilet, and sink. To the right, you’ll find the beautiful master bedroom, and to the left, the charming second bedroom—both with king-size beds for ultimate comfort. Heather Cottage comfortably sleeps four adults, with the option to accommodate up to six guests upon request. Come and discover the magic of Heather Cottage—we’re sure you’ll love it here! Important Notes: We provide a welcome pack of toiletries to get you started, but please note this isn’t continuously topped up during your stay. Please note that the log burner is faux and not a real log burner. The cottage is located near Craig’s Dairy Farm, a working farm where occasional machinery noise may be heard. However, we’ve never found it to be an issue, and we highly recommend visiting the farm’s tea room and shop! Exterior CCTV is in place for the safety and security of our guests. Internet access is for recreational use only; it’s not intended for business or streaming, and speeds may vary. Please note that EV charging is not allowed at the property, and a £50 fine applies for non-compliance.
