Seaside Cottage on Runmarö About 1 hour from Stockholm, our cozy cottage on Runmarö is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the archipelago. Enjoy our green area by the sea, have a picnic or go for a swim. In summer, the island offers a restaurant with live music and a bakery. We’re a 5-minute walk from Runmarö Båtvarv, where you can rent bikes, book a sauna or dock your boat. Nature, sea and tranquility await you. The space Cozy and surrounded by nature, our small cottage on Runmarö is ideal for those looking to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Stockholm archipelago. The cottage is located within our property while still offering privacy for our guests. It features a living area with a two-seater sofa, TV, and an open-plan kitchenette equipped with a mini fridge, cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, and a dining table for two. The bedroom has a 140 × 200 cm bed and a wardrobe. The bathroom has hot water and is equipped with a Cinderella incinerating toilet, commonly used in properties throughout the archipelago. Instructions for use are available in the cottage. The property’s water comes from a local island water source. Depending on the time of year and weather conditions, the water may occasionally have a slightly yellowish color or a natural odor. For your comfort, a filtered water pitcher is provided in the cottage. Bottled water can also be purchased at the island’s grocery store if you prefer. Bed linen and towels are included in your stay. If you plan to swim in the sea or use the sauna, we recommend bringing an extra towel. A kitchen towel is also provided. Outside, there is a small private deck with a table, two chairs, and a small barbecue grill. Charcoal is not included but can be purchased at the island’s grocery store. The property also has a lovely green area by the sea, with two sun loungers and a small table, perfect for relaxing, having a picnic, or simply enjoying the surrounding nature. From Styrsvik ferry terminal, it is approximately a 30-minute walk to the cottage. We are just a 5-minute walk from Runmarö Båtvarv, where you can rent bicycles and a sauna or dock your own boat. The island has a grocery store where you can buy food, drinks, and basic necessities during your stay. There is also a restaurant and, during the summer season, a bakery. Opening hours may vary depending on the time of year. Important to know before booking As we are located on an island and surrounded by nature, staying here can be a little different from staying in the city. We recommend planning your arrival and shopping according to the boat schedules and the opening hours of services on the island. During the warmer months, mosquitoes and other insects typical of the archipelago are common, so we recommend bringing insect repellent. Some businesses and activities on the island are seasonal and may be closed outside the summer season.
